All of our chairs are designed and manufactured with due care in our four modern factories in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, allowing us to guarantee 100% quality control at all stages of production. We prefer components from local and European suppliers that meet all our quality requirements and are properly tested and certified.
The production of our chairs is characterized by a high proportion of quality handmade work. These are especially the upholstery fillings, which we produce and cut in our own factory, but also the fabric upholstery covers, which are created under the hands of our experienced seamstresses. We are so confident in the quality of our workmanship and the longevity of our seating furniture that we offer a 5-year warranty on a large part of the ALBA range.
The efficiency and reliability of our production processes are guaranteed to our customers by an internal quality management system certified according to ISO 9001. Naturally, not only our chairs but also the the individual components are certified to confirm their quality and safet (e.g. certification according to European standards ČSN EN 1335-1:2000, ČSN EN 1335-2:2009, ČSN EN 16139:2013 or Öko-Tex Standard 100). For an exclusive range of products for our partner, we have also obtained the GS product safety label. We can provide you with the certification for all ALBA chairs on request.
In accordance with the international standard ISO 14001, we continuously improve our environmental management and proactively look for opportunities to reduce our environmental impact. Among other things, we are involved in the EKO-KOM system, which ensures the sorting, recycling and recovery of packaging waste.
In 2022, ALBA has been awarded the ecolabel “Environmentally Friendly Product” and the EU Ecolabel to custom made seating furniture.
Thanks to the top quality of our products, we have been awarded the Czech Quality Mark, which confirms that we are one of the best manufacturers in the Czech Republic. In addition, in 2021 we were awarded the Leader of the Year award for the Central Bohemia Region, which is awarded annually to the most successful Czech companies.
